Who Is This Guy?

stageHi, I’m Jason, a completely unemployable serial entrepreneur, and a member of a multi-generational family business in the Network Marketing industry, which generates multiple 7-figures of income annually.

That really pretty girl beside me?  That’s my amazing wife, Stacy, who’s pretty much a butt-kicker in life in her own right.

I was born into a family of successful Network Marketers.  At age 19, I started in network marketing, and just knew that because of my family’s experience, success would be a cakewalk.  While I thought I worked hard, and sponsored dozens of people onto my team, I ultimately fell flat on my face.  I was frustrated, irritated, and felt like a failure.  I was impatient and immature.  And I certainly wasn’t having any fun.

Nonetheless, being raised with an entrepreneurial mindset, I knew owning my own business was the only way I was ever going to get what I wanted out of life.  That’s when I decided to do something most people thought was crazy:

I started a completely new business.

“Why would you do that? ” You ask.  “Your family already had a successful business you could learn and grow with.”

That’s true.

But I sucked at it.

And no one likes to keep doing something they feel they suck at.

At the time, I felt I needed to do my own thing.   My OWN business, completely separate from what my dad and grand-dad built.  I needed to prove to myself that I had what it takes to start a business from scratch.

And I did it.

In 2002, I founded a website design and development company that I started in my basement.  In 3 years, the company was doing multiple 6 figures of business, and life was good.  I was making money, I had the “freedom” of my own business, and I set my own schedule.

But there was a problem.

That work schedule… the one I set myself… was ALL THE TIME.

You see, I had forgotten one of the most important aspects of a business that truly creates lifestyle options:  residual or ongoing income. With a new level of maturity and business sense, I applied my full efforts back into Network Marketing, compelled and determined to make it work for me.

In 2011, I sold my technology company to a partner for equity, and bought back my freedom.

Here’s what I found…

I’ll let you in on a “secret”, as unpopular as it may be:

There is one bottom line to success, and that is HARD WORK.  Period.

And it is WORTH the work.

There are other elements to success in business as well that are hugely important… personal mindset, a sound strategy, leveraging the knowledge, tools and resources that other successful people have, to name a few.  This blog can share a great deal of those resources and tools that I have personally used to contribute to my own success, so I encourage you to dig deeper.

But the one thing I see most would-be entrepreneurs (particularly Network Marketers) miss is consistently sustained work over time.

As a 10+ year martial artist and an accomplished musician (if I do say so myself), I learned that consistent, long-term effort is the path to success…. in anything.  The funny thing is, most people understand this when it comes to developing a skill like musicianship or athletics… but NOT when it comes to wealth and success.

It is my sincere hope that my experiences and the resources on this blog will help guide you closer to your ultimate success decision, mindset, and strategy.  There is nothing that excites me more than seeing someone like you taking the necessary steps toward success, overcoming your own fears and excuses, and getting it done.

I welcome your email or phone call.  If there’s a way I can help you on the path, you can bet I will.

It’s what I do.

All the best,
